Our implementation function is offered under two distinct services:

Project Management

All projects large and small have an appointed project manager, whose role is to liaise with the client and ensure all project goals are met. As well as managing our internal team, our project managers coordinate the efforts of all external suppliers (e.g. moulders, shipping companies, marketing agencies, test houses, patent attorneys, etc.) to ensure the product is launched successfully. The ability to pull in and manage specialist expertise as and when required means no challenge is too great.

Production Support

Ensuring the quality standards for the product are achieved is particularly important during the transition of the design from prototype to volume manufacture. At IDC we assist our clients to bring the design solutions into production. A vital part of this process is the manufacture of the production tooling as this defines the quality levels for the rest of the product life. IDC engineers are experienced in managing complex tooling programmes in the UK and around the world, including for medical device development.

IDC can also provide assistance with setting up of quality procedures, arranging shipping, batch inspections, writing manuals, designing packaging, production scale up, etc
