IDC frequently works with organisations across the globe and has multilingual designers to support this; spoken languages include French, German, Italian, Dutch, Serbo-Croat, Cantonese and Mandarin.

Stephen Knowles: Managing Director
Stephen Knowles
Managing Director
A chartered engineer, with a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Stephen has wide experience of managing and undertaking technical and non-technical projects and has a thorough understanding of all aspects of design and manufacture. Taking a overview role, he will act as a technical resource and internal reviewer to ensure deliverables are met.
Brian Gough: Projects Director

Projects Director
With over twenty five years experience managing design projects, Brian has a deep understanding of the product development process and design engineering. Brian has delivered a wide range of ‘turn key’ projects for consumer, business machines and medical products manufactured in Europe, India and China.
Peter Pendergast: IDC Models
Peter ‘Pete’ Pendergast
In his 20's, Pete built a complete car starting with a space frame chassis and the body made from fibreglass. Since then, Pete has been building models of every shape and size. Pete joined the team at IDC Models in 1988 and specialises in Rapid Tooling and Injection Moulding. Pete feels passionate about model and pattern making and admits that a lot of IDC’s success in the past can be attributed to the 'can do' attitude of the team, "One visitor once commented that we can make the impossible, I think that sums up the attitude here."
Barry Knight: Projects Manager
Barry Knight
With an honours degree in industrial design in 1990, Barry has been developing patented products for market, within a design consultancy environment for 20 years. His considerable experience encompasses project management of complex development programmes for local and multinational companies. His role involves overseeing teams in industrial design, mechanical engineering and managing the development process from concept through to production sign-off.
Sergio Malorni: Projects Manager
Sergio Malorni
Sergio has over 19 years of experience in design and engineering of medical devices, consumer, industrial, capital goods, and aerospace products. A chartered engineer, with a Mechanical B.Eng degree, Sergio has experience in a broad range of manufacturing processes, materials and mechanism design while managing multi-disciplinary projects from inception to market launch.
John Eaton: Financial Director
John Eaton
John Eaton has over 40 years commercial experience as a Chartered Accountant and has worked for a variety of firms including Price Waterhouse and Ogden Parsons & Company (now Deloitte). He later established his own accountancy practice, Eaton & Company, in 1993 before merging it with Meager Wood Locke & Company in 2007. John Eaton is now working as the Finance Director in Industrial Design Consultancy.
