IDC were commissioned to create a Suture Dispenser to reach Global markets. The brief was to upgrade the packaging as well as the brand in order to compete in the international market. The client - WEGO Sutures - had a considerable reputation in the Asian market place, and wanted that to echo in their products that we were specifically designing for the US and European market.

After extensive research in both professional and consumer healthcare, IDC discovered that the best way to brand and package the sutures was to use monochromatic imagery to help identify the package contents and tie the range together across the series of colours, but still keep them compatible with the generic colour coding system used for sutures.

By combining key features of the existing brand with contemporary elements, IDC was able to create a contemporary global extension to by adding typographic elements for the brand product and category.

The new brand identity will then be implemented in the new suture packaging range for the global market.
