Portable Heart Monitor
IDC was tasked to design a portable heart monitor. The C.Net5000 is a portable, fist-sized device that identifies abnormal heart rhythms linked to strokes and cardiac disease. The machine uses neural computing techniques to measure heartbeats and detect deviations from standard patterns.
Unlike existing ECG tests where results can take up to 13 weeks to be processed, the C.Net5000 is simply strapped to the patient’s arm and results from a 24-hour observation period display on the screen.
IDC always realises the importance of medical advancements in order to make the patients more comfortable, results more accurate and designs more ergonomic. By doing so the medical products designed by IDC have won numerous design awards and been recognised on an international level for these designs.
